4 reasons why you should record your event

Probably you are asking yourself: "Should I record the event?" My answer to this question is: "Yes, you should." But it depends on your audience and type of the event, of course. Here are four reasons which can help you decide:

• The participants. Especially if there are many interesting speakers with a lot of information to tell. I do not know how good your memory is, but I appreciate the possibility of recalling important information several months later. Does your event have sessions running in parallel? Do not hesitate and record the event. Deciding which session to visit is stressful for participants. They are much more relaxed and enjoy your event bearing in mind that they do not miss anything important. They can also do much more networking "during" the talks. And networking is the core of your event.

• You are a lecturer and people often ask you to explain something. If you have already spoken about it, then send them a link with a particular time in your lecture. They can watch directly the part of your lecture where you are explaining the problem. You save their time...

To share the moment just click on a checkbox under the video...

...and then use one of the share buttons on the right.

Barcamp Vsetín 2012 - 2/3 done

We have made available 2/3 of video content recorded at Barcamp Vsetín 2012 (in Czech). We are still waiting for the last third but do not hesitate to watch 20 already published video recordings now. ASRU 2011 recordings online

Good news everyone!

We have finished processing of ASRU 2011 video recordings and posted them on our website. There are 8 one-hour-long talks given by top researchers from Microsoft, Google, IBM and top universities. We are proud that video content from such a highly specialized workshop is hosted on SuperLectures.

ASRU 2011 was held in December 11 - 15, 2011 in Hawaii. The ASRU workshop meets every two years and has a tradition of bringing together researchers from academia and industry in an intimate and collegial setting to discuss problems of common interest in automatic speech recognition and understanding.
